This post is not about a big trip. It’s just about some boring Christmas lights which can easily be seen all over social media anyway. This place is close to home or at least just a few minutes away from our home. You might have heard of it. It’s the festival of lights at the Mission Inn in downtown Riverside.
And with the current pandemic during this 2020, the popular thought is to hate on this year, and it indeed prevented us from having our normal lives. I understand it may have hit others harder with job losses and health impacts. But, at least for me, after weighing everything, I gotta say I had more blessings to be thankful for than anything else. So I’m thankful for this year, for the trials, and all the advantages I have compared to most of the planet. I mean, I get to take a warm shower whenever I feel like it just a few feet from the warm bed I get to sleep on every night. I feel rich, but not because I have a lot of zeroes in my bank account, but because I have everything I need and don’t really need anything else. Just good thoughts, my health (so far), family and great friends to love as if they were family. Well, I’ll just end it here by wishing everyone all the blessings they need and a happier and better 2021.
The photos below were taken as .jpg mode straight out of the camera. Not on purpose, but becuase I forgot the change the setting when I started shooting during this particular evening.
